Your Personal Power State is the Restricted Power Beacon.

Your personal power state reveals how connected you are to your personal power. Once you identify your personal power state, you can start making conscious choices to step more into your power so you can live as the beacon you were born to be. Living at full power allows you to be more satisfied in your relationships with others, with yourself, with your work, and with spirituality and purpose.

As the flashlight, you can light the path ahead, but your light only shines so far. You are a beacon whose light is restricted, not as bright as it could be. You’re heading in the direction of stepping into your power, but you’ve got some work to do.

Don’t be alarmed because you can create a sustainable change in a shorter amount of time than you think. Just because the “downshift” might have been long and painful doesn’t mean that the “upshift” cannot be quick and enjoyable. You can still take back the power you have given away.

There are times when you take responsibility for your life, but other times, you feel like you have no control over your life. During those times, it feels like life is happening to you, and you don’t believe you have what it takes to face life’s challenges.

While sometimes decisions are easy for you to make, other times you drag out the process, and you usually don’t take risks. You tend to avoid conflict, and you prefer to stay in your safe and familiar comfort zone when things get too hard. You are sensitive to negative energy and easily affected by what’s going on in the world. Other people and situations can easily influence how you feel. When you get off balance, it takes time and effort for you to bounce back.

You are riding an emotional roller-coaster. For every time you manage your emotions in a healthy way, there’s another time when your emotions control you. Your energy level is inconsistent, swinging from high to low. When you are down, you lack joy and a zest for life.

Your inner critic is loud, and you easily “downshift” to a place of feeling not good enough and unworthy. You wish you could experience a deeper spiritual connection, but so often you feel that your cup is empty. You allow fear to get in the way of creating the life you want. You are operating in survival mode.

Here’s the good news. What is described above are your natural tendencies. Those are the automatic reactions that you had to adopt in order to survive life. Those reactions are not who you really are. Once you get stronger and reconnect with your true self and spirituality, you will feel much better.

When it comes to personal power, there are practical and simple ways to “upshift.” Just like you got used to giving away your power, you can turn things around, develop new coping skills, and strengthen your inner connection.

But you must be willing, open, and ready.

Willing to learn new ways of being so you can take back your power.

Open to showing up to life in a different way without allowing anything or anyone to dim your light.

Ready to trust that the time has come to walk this path. Your path.
