Are you an Empath?

Do you want to find out?
Answer quick 12 questions to help you identify if you are an empath.

As a business owner, a mom, a daughter and a wife, I’m always looking for ways to have more time and energy. I want to enjoy life, instead of just going through the motions. It takes some effort and planning to be able to take good care of myself; it doesn’t happen by itself.

I give a lot of energy to helping others and dealing with life challenges. At times, it’s just too difficult to find time for activities that will keep me energized for my own needs.

Our body is an energy tank. Just like the car, it has to be refueled it; it can’t run on “empty”.

We have to eat well, sleep well, and nurture our body.

We have to nurture our mind, our heart, and our spirit.

How do we do all these when we’re so busy, when we’re too tired to start the day?

Here’s a tip:

In order to fill up your energy tank, you have to create a “morning routine” and a “before bed” routine and stick to it.

Start simple.

Start short.

Make it easy.

If you are a beginner in creating a Balance Practice, start with 5 minutes in the morning and 5 minutes before bed. No matter how busy you are, you can dedicate 10 minutes a day for self-care. If you don’t think you can do it, that’s a lie. Don’t let the lie control you. Take charge over your life.

Set your morning alarm 10 minutes earlier than usual and spend 5 minutes doing your morning routine.

Set your alarm in the evening to make sure that you make your “before bed” routine a priority.

My morning routine includes self-Reiki, meditation and prayer.

My before bed routine includes making a gratitude list (what went well) and a short inspirational reading.

Choose activities that suit your lifestyle and personality. There is no right or wrong. Your routines might be completely different than mine, and that’s perfectly OK!

Here are some ideas:

The Bottom line: 5 minutes in the morning and 5 minutes at night is a good way to fill up your energy tank so you can enjoy living a balanced life.

Ask: What is one morning activity and one evening activity I am willing to commit to doing every day?

Affirm: How I start my day is how I live my day. How I end my day is how I sleep.
