Thousands of women cannot be wrong.
There are thousands of women in our Beacons of Change community who have gone through a process of healing and transformation. Many of them are “personal growth junkies.” They read lots of self-help books. They attend classes and workshops. They enroll in online courses.
Can you relate, beacon?
Are you committed to your personal growth but often find yourself unable to fully integrate the lessons you learned? Maybe you lose interest or don’t have time to finish what you started. Maybe you get self-help overload, fall back on old habits, and catch yourself feeling disappointed and self-critical.
Do me a favor, my dear. Don’t just read this blog. Grab a pen and paper (or a journal, if you have one.) Take notes, reflect, and track your “light bulb” moments. Take your time reading and processing. This stuff is powerful!
You and I both know: You are meant for more.
You are meant to stand tall in your power and reach your potential.
The Beacons of Change Method is a proven, tested system that has helped women around the world tap into their potential to live, love, and lead at full power.
Once you start practicing the 4 models of change below, your personal growth process will become easier and more effective than ever before.
Growth and change don’t happen in a straight line.
Look at the spiral for a minute. Each “low point” is still higher than the one that came before it.
When you are dealing with a low point:
- Accept that your low point is still higher than it was in the previous spiral.
- Celebrate how far you have come.
- Get curious what this low point will lead to. Get excited about moving up to the next spiral.
Creating a comfort zone is a healthy part of life. It protects us and keeps us safe.
But if we always stick with what feels familiar, we are choosing the easy way out: to stay exactly where we are.
The only way to step into your greatness and become the source of light you are meant to be is to venture out of your comfort zone.
I talk more about this powerful concept here: The Truth About Stepping Out of Your Comfort Zone.
There are three side to the triangle:
Side One: Wisdom Flow
Wisdom is the ability to KNOW without learning. There is wisdom that is too big to put into words. Carl Jung called it collective unconscious. Structures of the unconscious mind that are shared among beings of the same species.
I call it collective wisdom.
Your personal growth process becomes meaningful and sustainable once you tune into your inner wisdom and lean into collective wisdom.
Side Two: Spiritual Connection
Your personal growth can only be complete if you bring spirituality into the process.
Spirituality is not about religion but about maintaining a connection with something bigger than us and connecting with each other from a place of love and compassion.
You wouldn’t be able to grow if you didn’t have moments of failure. Living a spiritual life allows you to look for the spiritual lessons: What can I learn from this experience?
Side Three: Power Shift
You don’t have control over other people and situations. But you can control your reactions and your energy. You possess the ability to create a turning point and shift to a higher energy level at any given moment.
One of the most effective tools I use for power shifting is Reiki. I have given myself Reiki every day for more than 20 years. I encourage you to learn to give Reiki to yourself too and make it your #1 tool for shifting your energy at any moment.
When you get triggered by negative energy around you, you automatically shift to a low energy level and give away your power.
The Downshift Upshift model reflects one simple truth: A long and painful process of automatic downshifting doesn’t mean the upshift has to be the same. You control the upshift.
Once you take responsibility and get the right support, you can experience a quick, joyful, intentional, and UPlifting upshift.
Hello
I so appreciate all you do to help people like myself reach our highest potential. I’m a stranger to Reiki however, I’m very interested in exploring the benefits of such help. I’m a counselor currently in therapeutic counseling. I suffer with depression and I want to be free once and for all.
Thank you so much for being brave and writing, Onastacia. Reiki is very helpful in managing depression. Check it out and I hope to see you in one of the next classes. I’m glad you read this blog article. I believe in your ability to create a turning point and upshift!
