Usually when I exercise at the gym, I either listen to songs on my iPod or flip between different TV shows using the touch screen in front of me. It rarely happens that I will get attracted to a show and keep watching it for a long time.
It happened this week. You might think it was a meaningful spiritual show?. It wasn’t. It was an episode from the TV series Las Vegas, which I rarely watch. I watched it until I was done with the treadmill.
In this episode, guest star Tom Selleck (as Mr. Cooper) arrived as the new owner of the Casino. Cooper ? yep, just ?Cooper? ? owns the largest working cattle ranch in Wyoming. Formerly married, no kids, net worth: $2 billion.
He shows up at the casino driving a truck and decked out in a denim shirt and cowboy boots. But that’s not the point. The point is his new marketing campaign.
Coop?s new marketing campaign is: Anything Can Happen.
?Let’s have some fun!? he says, and proceeds to give away $1,000 to everyone on the floor, plus a few brand new trucks. Everyone’s surprised and happy!
Well, everyone except the staff, that is. They?re worried about getting fired.
What happened next? I have no clue…
I had to get off the treadmill and continue my workout so I didn’t get to see how it ended. Regardless, I was really inspired by his slogan: Anything Can Happen!
Working with other people as well as with myself, I see over and over again that when you are willing, centered and energized ? anything can happen.
Willing ? is all it takes to start making changes in your life. If you are not willing, wait until you are.
Centered ? When you find your own way of getting centered and you make it a regular practice ? you are calm, you are inspired and you get the answers from within.
Energized ? whatever you do, put all your energy into it, get enthusiastic and passionate about it.
I can teach you how to get centered and I can help you to get energized, but only when you are ready, willing and excited to start making changes.
Let me know when you are, and remember?.
Anything Can Happen!.
