She’s not the only one—many of us ride waves of emotions. I’ve been writing, speaking, and teaching about the importance of being mindful of our emotions. Making space for embracing all feelings is essential, especially if you habitually tend to avoid them.
At the same time, be careful not to get lost in your emotions and to let them control you. Letting your emotions take over weakens your ability to overcome challenges and to rise up.
