It’s not you. It’s not me. It’s the collective fatigue that is affecting us all. In the last few weeks, almost all of the women I mentor, as well as my girlfriends, have said they’re tired. Some of them have said they are depressed.
Not feeling like yourself right now makes a lot of sense, especially if you are an empath or a sensitive soul. Those of us who are more sensitive to energy have experienced bigger highs and lows in the last few months. Not only have we had to deal with our own worry and fear, and with the stress of our loved ones, but we tend to take on the weight of the world. Yes! The world. We take on the pain, the suffering, the stress, the emotions—all of it.
One of the beacons in our community sent me this blog that I once wrote: “9 Mistakes Highly Sensitive Women Make.” She said, “I flagged this blog when you sent it, and I came back to it now. I am making each one of these nine mistakes. Now more than ever before! Help!”
It makes sense. We are triggered, and we respond from reactionary mode, especially when we’re emotionally exhausted. The world is challenging. Life is not easy. Some people might say life never was easy. But 2020 has become one of the most difficult years many of us have ever experienced. Feeling unsafe and lacking the freedom we once had—to spend time with other people, to hug, to travel, to earn money, to use public transportation—lead to feelings of powerlessness and frustration.
The planet is going through a process of healing and awakening. True healing can be painful. Exhaustion and fatigue are normal during challenging times. But there is also a divine opportunity here for us. An opportunity to get stronger.
How do we overcome the exhaustion and get stronger?
I want to present you with one of my four models of change: the Triangle of Transformation.
There are three critical pieces in the triangle: spirituality, power, and wisdom.
Spirituality is not about religion but about maintaining a connection with something bigger than us and connecting with each other from a place of love and compassion. The real opportunity right now is to deepen our spiritual connection. I don’t believe that bad things happen because we are being tested. I think that bad things happen because that’s life, and life is not perfect. But once they happen, we can choose to look for the spiritual lessons and opportunities.
How can you deepen your spiritual connection to help you elevate from exhaustion?
Power represents your personal power. Living at full power means tapping into your personal power while relying on a power greater than yourself. One cannot live without the other. Feeling disempowered is normal during difficult times. But once you accept responsibility for your life, you can find the strength to move your life forward. To upshift. To elevate.
What is one thing you can do right now to upshift and elevate yourself to a higher energy level?
Wisdom is the ability to KNOW without learning. There is wisdom that is too big to put into words. Carl Jung called it collective unconscious. Structures of the unconscious mind that are shared among beings of the same species. I call it collective wisdom. Your personal growth process becomes meaningful and sustainable once you tune into your inner wisdom and lean into collective wisdom.
How can you press the “pause” button and allow yourself to lean into deeper wisdom?
May I challenge you, beacon?
Don’t let the collective exhaustion and fatigue take over. Connect with each one of these critical pieces of transformation: spiritual power, personal power, inner and collective wisdom.
You have done it before during challenging times, and you can do it again.
If you feel stuck, and you know in your heart that you can’t get out of the rut by yourself, allow me to be your guide.
There are many ways I can help you. We can work privately. I can become your spiritual mentor. I can take you through the journey into your soul and let wisdom guide you. You can learn Reiki with me and start vibrating from a higher level.
I care, and it will be my honor to serve as your beacon, so you can get empowered to serve others.
