Balance Tip: Don’t let your thoughts abuse you!

By Michal Spiegelman

If I told you that you’re a victim, you?d probably deny. You would likely be wrong.

Most of us are victims to our own thinking. It’s a habit.

Whenever you think, ?why is this happening to me?? ? you’re thinking like a victim.

Whenever you think, ?nobody is helping me. I have to do it all on my own? ? you’re thinking like a victim.

When you feel hopeless, you’re thinking like a victim.

Feeling like a victim doesn’t mean someone else is out to get you. It means your own thoughts are abusing you.

Step into your power. Own it. You can break out of victim thinking!

Cope, deal, face, act. Get the support you need. One of the main things I do with my coaching clients is help them step away from their victim thinking and into their power.

The Bottom line: Stop thinking, talking, feeling or acting like a victim. It drains your energy and doesn’t take you anywhere. Take charge.

Ask: If I was totally in my power, what would I do right now?

Affirm: I step into my power and I am strong, energized and confident.
