Mondays are “Pick-A-Card” days for my Inner Circle Online Sisterhood. I intuitively choose 3 cards from one of my card decks. I post a picture of the cards, face down, on our Facebook page. Women post the card they choose, and I come back later to share the image on the reverse side and the message of the cards.
The beacons in my sisterhood love the card-reading process. What is it about this activity that makes it so popular?
We are mostly used to pulling out information and ideas from our intellect. In ancient times, people were more in tune with what some call the sixth sense—the ability to tap into intuition. The intuition “muscle” that was once very developed has been used less and less with the evolution of the world, and many of us feel the need to reconnect with our intuition and wisdom.
Wisdom is the ability to be wise. Wisdom is also the ability to KNOW without learning.
There is wisdom that is too big to put into words.
Carl Jung called it collective unconscious. Structures of the unconscious mind that are shared among beings of the same species.
I call it collective wisdom.
Imagine that all thoughts, emotions, and human experiences are “documented” in an invisible library or resource center. This library is divided into sections according to gender, culture, species, religion, etc. One of the biggest sections is the feminine collective.
There is no doubt in my mind that women share collective wisdom that is different from that of men. It is the unspoken words, the ability to “see” another woman, not just with our eyes. Tapping into collective wisdom creates a sense of connection and belonging. Of feelings, experiences, and understanding that women share. A true soul-level intimacy happens every time I gather women together, whether in a virtual room or a real one.
Tapping into collective wisdom allows you to access a sense that you were born with: intuition.
Intuition is the ability to receive messages that are coming through you without knowing where they come from.
A few days ago, a friend asked me for my secret to having such amazing results with my private clients. She knows that I am well known for my ability to mentor women who have almost given up on their ability to create the change they want. My answer? I don’t know if there is one secret. What I know is that at the core of my Beacons of Change Method is a fundamental tenet that tapping into collective wisdom and creating the space for women to bring their intuition alive is essential. I describe my method in depth in this article I wrote, “The Unique, Outside the Box, Most Effective Formula for Change”.
Looking back at my evolution over many years as a teacher and a mentor for women, I see that the biggest change was shifting from motivating women to take action to creating the space for women to tap into wisdom and intuition and find the answers within them. I can help you interpret the messages. I can receive messages from you and share my intuition. But lightbulbs, AHA! moments, and epiphanies only happen within yourself.
Is it time for you to connect to the wise woman within you?
As a beacon, a source of light, and a guide for others, you were born wise, and so much collective ancient wisdom is still available to you.
Read that last sentence again. How does it make you feel? Curious? Excited? Or maybe afraid or resistant?
Reconnecting with the wise woman within you and tapping into collective wisdom is only possible once you remove the fear and resistance.
Is it the right time for you to remove barriers and access wisdom and intuition?
You’re the only one who knows the answer.
Don’t just think the answer with your mind. Seek it with your heart and soul. Close your eyes. Take a deep breath. Ask for guidance. Put the question out there: Am I ready?
If you feel a YES in your body, write it in the comments. It is my promise to continue to light the path for you.
