Be Careful What You Wish For

By Michal Spiegelman

Have you ever had a wish come true, only to discover reality was different from your expectations?

I’m sure you’ve heard the saying, “Be careful what you wish for because you just might get it!”

While the genies and fairy godmothers of mythology and fairy tales may not be the ones to grant our wishes, all of us have probably had the experience of putting out our heart’s desires, only to have the universe respond—and still we are not as happy as we thought we’d be!

When “Sheila” told me about the man she is dating (“We can’t take our hands off each other”), I smiled. After all, she had wished for such a relationship. But the reality was different from her expectations. Our conversation led us to an important understanding of the law of attraction. I have a feeling the moral of the story will benefit you as well.

WOW! This really resonated with me on so many levels. I think I want a relationship so badly, but have so much “armor” that I feel like I’m sabotaging myself by my guarded self. I need to work on letting go of my armor…. Thank you Michal for sharing this message…
